Born 2001 in Guayaquil, Ecuador, Daniella studied her high school education in the Deutsche Schule Guayaquil. This allowed her to later travel and initiate her fine art practice in Europe, first Germany and then Spain.
At the heart of Daniella Santos paintings lies the mixing of long valued traditional techniques, and a contemporary touch. The search for realism in her pictures is only a way to try and get closer to the abstract of the human condition. The calmness, and the chaos of it.
Her studies of figure are one of the ways she shows her fascination and curiosity. And each are a unique connection with the person she is painting.
