''I've always loved the waves, sound and color of the ocean. The painting portrays a feeling I get and a vision I see whenever I find myself in the need to take a deep breath and relax. Being alone while envisioning myself floating in the ocean is the highest form of spirituality and happiness. At that moment, I am whole, sheltered and truly connected with the universe.
The cat in the foreground is open to interpretation and it is up to the viewer to decide whether it is existent or imaginery.''
