Meine Bilder entstehen aus Druck. Aus Erinnerungen, aus Fragmenten der Vergangenheit, aus Momenten der Gegenwart, die sich überlagern und in Farbe übersetzen. Mich interessieren die Dinge, die uns täglich begleiten: eine Tasse, ein Raum, ein Blick, ein Gegenstand in der Hand. Unspektakulär. Und doch voller Geschichte. In ihnen lagern Erinnerungen, Gefühle, Begegnungen. Ich male diese stillen Träger von Erfahrung. Dinge, die scheinbar banal sind, aber emotional aufgeladen bleiben. Meine Malerei ist kein Dekor. Sie ist ein Versuch, diese Spannung sichtbar zu machen, zwischen Erinnerung und Gegenwart, Nähe und Distanz, Alltag und Bedeutung.
Ich arbeite aus einem inneren Antrieb heraus. Kunst ist für mich keine Option, sondern eine Notwendigkeit.
My paintings emerge from pressure. From memories, fragments of the past, and moments of the present that overlap and translate themselves into color. I am interested in the things that accompany us every day: a cup, a room, a glance, an object in the hand. Unspectacular. And yet full of history. Within them lie memories, emotions, encounters. I paint these quiet carriers of experience, things that seem ordinary, yet remain emotionally charged. My painting is not decoration. It is an attempt to make visible this tension: between memory and the present, intimacy and distance, the everyday and meaning.
I work from an inner drive. Art is not an option for me, it is a necessity.

As long as I can remember, art has accompanied me like a second pulse.
From an early age I sensed that it was my true place, long before I understood what it meant. The path toward it was not always easy, yet one thing became clear to me early on: not working, not painting, feels like a quiet disappearance. Art is not a decision in my life, but a necessity.
My work emerges from memory and the present at once.
Family images, fragments of everyday life, traces of consumption, fleeting gestures, I gather what remains. On the canvas, these fragments condense into pictorial spaces in which time, loss, and intimacy coexist.
Nostalgia is a central driving force in my practice.
Not as a sentimental glance backward, but as an ambivalent space: it carries pain because it makes what is lost tangible, and it slows time. Within it, the fast rhythm of the present softens. An inner space opens in which time becomes almost imperceptible.
My painting moves between intimacy and public space, between personal history and collective experience. It holds on while letting go. It arises from the desire to preserve and from the awareness that everything is in flux.
In a world of constant acceleration, these works aim to create images that endure—
images that may be quiet or loud, yet carry their own sense of time.
Images that are not only seen, but remembered.
Solange ich mich erinnern kann, begleitet mich die Kunst wie ein zweiter Puls.
Schon früh wusste ich, dass sie mein eigentlicher Ort ist, lange bevor ich verstand, was sie bedeutet. Der Weg dorthin war nicht immer leicht, doch eines wurde mir früh klar: Nicht zu arbeiten, nicht zu malen, bedeutet für mich ein leises Verschwinden. Kunst ist keine Entscheidung in meinem Leben, sondern eine Notwendigkeit.
Meine Arbeiten entstehen aus Erinnerung und Gegenwart zugleich.
Familiäre Bilder, Alltagsfragmente, Konsumspuren, flüchtige Gesten, ich sammle, was bleibt. Auf der Leinwand verdichten sich diese Fragmente zu Bildräumen, in denen Zeit, Verlust und Nähe gleichzeitig existieren.
Nostalgie ist dabei ein zentraler Motor meiner Arbeit.
Nicht als sentimentaler Rückblick, sondern als ambivalenter Raum: Sie trägt Schmerz, weil sie das Verlorene spürbar macht, und sie verlangsamt. In ihr wird der schnelle Takt der Gegenwart leiser. Es entsteht ein innerer Raum, in dem Zeit kaum noch spürbar ist.
Meine Malerei bewegt sich zwischen Intimität und Öffentlichkeit, zwischen persönlicher Geschichte und kollektiver Erfahrung. Sie hält fest und lässt gleichzeitig los. Sie entsteht aus dem Wunsch, etwas zu bewahren, und aus dem Wissen, dass alles im Wandel ist.
In einer Welt permanenter Beschleunigung entstehen hier Bilder, die bleiben.
Bilder, die laut oder leise sein können, aber eine eigene Zeit tragen.
Bilder, die nicht nur gesehen, sondern erinnert werden.
