Lucia Jacobs

Lucia Jacobs ist eine 25-jährige Medienkünstlerin und Studentin der Alanus Hochschule für Kunst und Gesellschaft in Bonn. Als Finalistin des BFF-Förderpreises 2023/24 realisierte sie die Fotoserie „Nach uns die Sintflut 2.0“ und arbeitet derzeit an der Postproduktion ihres Debüt-Kurzfilms Kill a Darling.

Ihr Ziel ist es, Schönheit inmitten turbulenter Zeiten zu erschaffen – mit einer Bildsprache, die gleichermaßen hinterfragt wie verzaubert. Unter dem Leitsatz „Who are you when nobody is watching?“ richtet sie die Linse auf verborgene Realitäten jenseits der inszenierten Social-Media-Welt. Mit großer Leidenschaft für Detail und Symbolik sowie einem feinen Gespür für Licht und Farbe gelingt es ihr, visuelle Welten zwischen Realität und Traum zu erschaffen.

Neben ihrer künstlerischen Arbeit engagiert sie sich in der Organisation und Kuration des NEXT Jugendfotofestivals, schreibt Lyrik und orientiert sich zunehmend in Richtung Spielfilmregie.
