This painting is part of the "Violently Tactile" series.
The duality of touch is the main focus of the “Violently Tactile” series. Touching someone depending on the context can be both interpreted as something positive or negative. A mother’s embrace caries a drastically different message in comparison to the embrace of a policeman’s grip.
This series emerged as a reaction to the violence toward protestors against the war in Russia and 50% of profit from the sale of this painting will be donated to Meduza.
Meduza is an independent media source, helping promote awareness and truth about the war between Russia and Ukraine. Due to the state’s decision to proclaim Meduza a “foreign agent” their survival became completely dependent on its readers and survives of donations. Meduza has to continue living and deliver truth in times of propaganda.

Die Dualität der Berührung ist das Hauptthema der Serie "Violently Tactile". Die Berührung einer Person kann je nach Kontext sowohl positiv als auch negativ interpretiert werden. Die Umarmung einer Mutter hat eine ganz andere Bedeutung als die Umarmung durch einen Polizisten.
Diese Serie entstand als Reaktion auf die Gewalt gegen Kriegsgegner in Russland. 50% des Gewinns aus dem Verkauf dieses Gemäldes wird an Meduza gespendet.
Meduza ist eine unabhängige Medienquelle, die dazu beiträgt, das Bewusstsein und die Wahrheit über den Krieg zwischen Russland und der Ukraine zu fördern. Aufgrund der Entscheidung des Staates, Meduza zum "ausländischen Agenten" zu erklären, ist das Überleben von Meduza vollständig von seinen Lesern abhängig. Meduza muss weiterleben und in Zeiten der Propaganda die Wahrheit an Russen liefern.
